Nightfall is an American computer game released in 1998 by Altor Systems, Inc. It is the first real time 3D first-person adventure game and is only compatible with Apple computers which use the Mac OS. Essentially, the gameplay is similar to 3D first-person shooters such as Doom, as the world is three dimensional. However, numerous sprites are used for objects such as vases and rats.
