Franz Josef and Edek Bary?a, two Polish teenagers, were worried that a shortage of cash will force them to spend the summer holidays at home. But they never expected to come face-to-face with an alien from another dimension, who explains that his planet is in danger of destruction (and what's worse, his planet and Earth are cosmically connected, and if his home world is destroyed, the Earth will blow up too). He asks them to assemble a device that can save it.

Wacki: Kosmiczna Rozgrywka (Wacki: The Cosmic Game) is an adventure game where you control two characters, Franz Josef (FJ) and Edek Bary?a (EB). In order to assemble the aforementioned device, they travel around the whole world - you start in Poland, but later you visit America, Africa and Australia. In each location, you have to find an element of the device, and then find some means of transport to get out. The game is characterized by lots of wacky humour, and clicking on various objects will often show amusing animations.

Wacki uses a simple interface. To walk somewhere on the screen, you click there. To interact with objects on the screen, you click on them. To use an object from your inventory, you click on it and then click on whatever it is you want to use it on. You do not talk with people or examine objects to see their descriptions, though you can hold the cursor over your inventory objects to learn what they are.

You can switch between the two characters at will. Sometimes the success of an action depends on it being done by the right person. If you screw up badly (e.g. get yourself arrested or blown up) you lose a life - lose all three and it's game over. [source:mobygames]
