Tibia Tibia is the name of a world created by ancient gods, Fardos and Uman Zathroth. Zathroth, the evil half of the god Uman Zathroth, tries to destroy the work done by the creator Fardos and his other half, the wise Uman. He unleashed large hordes of demons and other evil creatures onto the humans living on Tibia. Luckily, Uman discovered dimensions beyond even the gods' reaches, and managed to conjure up gates that manifest souls from these dimensions. The heroes coming from these dimensions now help the humans fighting the evil hordes.

Tibia is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG). Players can choose between four different character classes to start from: knights, paladins, sorcerers and druids. Characters can be controlled by keyboard or mouse. Killing monsters will gain experience for the character, and reaching a new level means increasing the character's properties. The player can also improve certain skills of the character simply by using them.

There is no pre-defined aim of the game, since as an MMORPG, it is open-ended. Players can choose to form alliances with other players or go on quests alone. It is also possible to use the in-game economy to become rich, and buy your own virtual houses for example. [source:mobygames]
