Snark Busters: Welcome to the Club Kira Robertson lives in an alternative version of our world, where technology is still based on steam engines and clockwork contraptions. After being grounded by her father for stealing a constable's helmet for her personal collection, she receives a mysterious message while locked in her bedroom, challenging her to find the elusive Snark creature. She manages to break free and starts the hunt, searching for the Snark on all corners of the globe and many extra dimensions with the help of mirror portals.

Snark Busters: Welcome to the Club is a hidden object game that borrows some concepts from traditional point-and-click adventures. The gameplay follows the same pattern most of the time, where the player has to find all the scattered pieces of inventory objects and use the reassembled tools to solve puzzles. Instead of the usual list of objects to be found, the bottom of the screen displays segmented silhouettes of the items, with each piece partially filling the contour when collected. The segments are colored red when the piece is not accessible yet, usually requiring an extra step like opening a container to reveal them, turning green when they become visible.

After being completely restored, the objects can be dragged and dropped from the inventory slots to logical places on the scenery to perform an action or finish a pending task. The hint button is an emerald gem set on the bottom-right corner, that shows the position of one of the required pieces when activated, but takes some time to recharge after use. Some mini-games take place inside an interactive window at the center of the screen, where pieces and mechanisms of some sort have to be manipulated directly to solve them. [source:mobygames]
