Open Doors is a puzzle game played from a top-down view with 25 levels of gridded blue-prints of buildings. The levels consist of different rooms and hallways and the player needs to open a number of doors to reach an area marked by an X to go to the next level. The player's character is represented by a white square.

The square can be moved around using the arrows keys. Doors swing open automatically as you pass by them. However, most can only be opened in a single direction and as such only opening specific doors provides an entrance to progress. Some will also slam shut behind the player because there is not enough space to move. Levels can be reset at any time by pressing a key and after finishing all 25 levels a bonus mode becomes available. Progress in the game is automatically saved. [source:mobygames]
