Mae Q'West and the Sign of the Stars Jack Q'West, a fisherman, disappears one day while sailing through the Bering Sea. His wife Mae is left alone with their two children. With the guidance of her horoscope, she starts to uncover the mystery surrounding the fate of her husband.

Mae Q'West and the Sign of the Stars is hidden object game. Most of the time, the objective is to find and click on a certain amount of objects, listed at the right side of the screen, on crudely pre-rendered 3D scenes depicting several locations of a seaside town. The number of required objects is displayed at the bottom of the list. On each scene, there is one obligatory object to be found, marked with stars on the list.

Cryptograms and tile-matching mini-games appear between chapters. There is a solve button to skip the puzzles, and a hint button to show the position of one of the required objects. Sometimes the screen is split in two similar images, and the player has to click on the differences. [source:mobygames]
