Little Kings II is a mixture between managerial simulation and Risk. In every match there are two win conditions: a fixed (make another player landless) and a random one (e.g. get a certain amount of resources). one of them has to be fulfilled to win the game.

When receiving tax money from the citizens it can be reinvested in the army or used to buy needed resources from other players. Like in Risk other areas are attacked by moving an army from a bordering area into the enemy territory and the computer calculates the results. The special gimmick is that it is not possible to see the enemy's strength before attacking. The game features seven nations with different advantages and disadvantages.

New in comparison to Little Kings are missions which each player gets additional to the win conditions. These missions are more complex because mostly there are multiple requirements to fulfill before the mission can be taken care of. Also new is that the cities can be evolved to get better abilities, e.g. a higher defense. [source:mobygames]
