Game Classification

Claim to Power is a strategy game similar to Risk. The player controls one province in a medieval world and has to conquer the whole continent. There are five resources, which define the value of weapons, fortresses and moral. These values are assigned to the provinces, this means if the player has 100 soldiers in a good valued province they fight well - if he moves them to a province with bad values they suddenly become inept.

Per turn the player can undertake up to six actions, e.g. for trading, moving troops and attacking. The combat results are calculated by the computer. There are live action videos to illustrate the happenings. [source:mobygames]
