Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual is a point-and-click 3rd-person adventure game. The game is presented in 2D and contains realistic pre-rendered backgrounds of such locations as Paris, Malta and Istanbul.

Play as Sylvie Leroux, a young archeologist, who stumbles upon a secret involving an ancient legend. After receiving a cryptic phone call from her uncle involving her own research, she travels to meet him only to find that he is missing. While trying to locate her uncle, she becomes involved in a mystery involving archaeological sites throughout the Mediterranean.

Gameplay is primarily inventory based with a few conversational and mechanical types of puzzles. [source:mobygames]
