Boxhead: The Zombie Wars Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is the 5th installment in the Boxhead series of Flash games. Once again the player takes control of Jon Bambo, a box-shaped Rambo-like character taking out endless waves of zombies (and this time also other supernatural creatures).

Like in the previous games, the player is required to take out increasingly large waves of enemies and raise a multiplier counter that unlocks new weapons and features. Once Bambo is killed - the game is over.

The first difference you'll notice in The Zombie Wars is the new graphic style: the backdrops have taken a step from a cartoonish look to a more realistic style.
In addition a new game mode, "Defence", has been added. The player begins a game already equipped with a little base that has barricades, turrets and mortars.

Other new additions are in the weapons department: the multiplier counter goes much higher and unlocks new weapons such as a minigun, turrets, mortars, and the extremely devastating air strike.

Lastly, old enemies' graphics have been revamped together with Bambo, the devils are far more dangerous now, and three new enemies are introduced: runners, vampires and mummies.
Apart from the zombies, all enemy types can be removed from a game session in the game preferences menu. [source:mobygames]
