Blaster is an old-school horizontal shooter. The story: A space freighter full of terrestrial settlers get lost. Some time later it reappears with an alien crew and of course they want to conquer the earth. To foil their plan a super bomb shall destroy the carrier.
The player takes control of a space ship which escorts the bomb to its destination. In the levels the bomb flies slowly from left to right. The player hurries ahead and kills all enemy opposition. Sometimes the killed enemies leave upgrades behind which increase the effectivity of the ship's weapons. Instead of a save function there is a password given after every level. [source:mobygames]
