FreeCell Pro A version of the standard solitaire game FreeCell, with far more features than the one included with Windows.

The basic gameplay involves trying to move all 52 cards to the foundations at the top of the screen. In the main play area, they can be stacked down by alternate colour (red 7 on black 8, for example). The unusual thing is the Free Cells at the top of the screen, which can be used as temporary storage locations for the cards. Only one card at a time can be moved, either to another Tableau pile or a cell, but you can use the cells to move multiple cards in what appears to be one move. For example, you can put a black 6 in a cell, move a red 7 onto the black 8, then put the black 6 onto the red 7's new position. If there are empty columns, you can use these to move even more cards, a procedure known as a Supermove.

This version allows you to change the number of cells to anything from 0 to 7 (even with 2 cells rather than the Microsoft version's 4, around 80% of games can be won). There are over 8 billion numbered games, and at any point in any game, you can find out instantly whether the game is winnable. Moves are fully catalogued and saved as you play, and you can undo or redo to the start or last move. [source:mobygames]
