American McGee's Grimm: The Girl Without Hands The Girl Without Hands is the fifth game in the Grimm series and it tells the tale of a miller who is tricked by the devil into trading his daughter in exchange for riches. When he arrives to pick her up, the girl is crying so hard the devil does not want her and he announces to return later. In a desperate attempt to prevent the deal from going through, he cuts off her hands and makes her unwanted.

The girl eventually marries a king who has silver replacement hands made for her. When he goes to war however, the devil sees a chance for revenge, intercepts his mail and replaces the king's letter with a threat that he (the king) will kill her when he gets back. She flees from the castle and returns to the castle, and the misunderstanding is resolved when the king returns, leaving the devil defeated.

Grimm is of course disgruntled with these bitter sweet events and wants "an arm for an arm". Players replay the events with a much darker atmosphere. The gameplay is identical to the previous games in the series. The scenes are usually set in the woods and there is also a full-scale war. New to this instalment are sequences with a large amount of wind that push Grimm away (and make whales fly through the air). Some of the scenery also changes drastically, including the weather.
