To LOVE-Ru: Doki Doki! Rinkaigakkō-hen Rito Yuki is an average high school kid; he's not particularly athletic, and always gets nervous around girls. One day, though, a cute alien princess named Lala showed up at his house and moved in with him, and things haven't been the same since. Lala starts going to his school, learning about Earth life, and making Rito's daily existence far more difficult than it need be. But despite living with a cute young girl, he only has eyes for his long-time crush, Haruna Sairenji.

To LOVE-Ru is a Japanese-style adventure game based on the ecchi-comedy anime and manga series created by Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki. Rito's class is off to a beach resort for a four-day school trip, meaning lots of fun and lots of cute girls in swimsuits. The story is told from Rito's perspective as the trip progresses, and the player is regularly given choices that affect the story path and which character's ending the game leads to. For example, while riding on the bus to the resort, the player can choose to sit with either Haruna or Lala.

Additionally, there "Trouble" events every so often, in which the player must hit the shoulder buttons at the proper time to prevent an accident or help another character out. There are also minigames such as a watermelon smash and a tug-of-war contest. All dialogue in the game is fully voiced, and the player can save at any point. Additionally, recent dialogue is stored in a log so the player can reread conversations, and even listen to the dialogue again. After completing the game, a bonus mode is unlocked where the various in-game images can be viewed. There are multiple endings depending on the player's choices in the game, each involving a different character. [source:mobygames]
