Gopher was born in a top secret government facility. The facility was headed by a wise old professor. Gopher befriended the professor and when the professor was dying, he told Gopher to escape and keep hidden. Now, for reason you do not know, Gopher has issued a challenge for you to create a garden and defend it from his attacking army.

You must use your mouse to plant flowers to defend you garden from the attaching army. You cannot plant a solid wall, though, as you must leave an opening. The flowers will fire on the enemy as they advance through. If more that twenty enemy get to the bottom, you lose. The enemy are not very smart so plant your flowers in a maze. This will confuse the enemy and make them stay amongst the flowers longer. When you kill an enemy, you get money. This can be used to buy more flowers or upgrade your existing flowers to be more powerful. As the game progresses, you will have tougher and/or faster enemies so upgrading is a god idea. As you play the game, you will get new flower types. Each type has a special style. For instance, sunflowers fire slow but powerful shots. Daisies fire faster so can hit more but are less powerful. Later flowers stun enemies, making them move slower.and get hit more. [source:mobygames]
