No Time To Explain: Season 2 No Time To Explain: Season 2 is the sequel to No Time To Explain. It is provided for free to anyone who buys the original game and cannot be acquired independently. It continues the fast-paced side-scrolling platform antics from the first game about a man who is hassled by his future self. The game starts with the character locked up in an asylum and no indication of time. To reach the main game the player first has to complete this set of levels to escape. In this environment the character is launched into the air by drawing the direction where to go, similar to Focus. The character needs to navigate mazes often without touching the walls. This is done by using the technique in quick succession to reach a portal. In later levels there are zones where the character cannot be launched.

Once the main game is reached, it continues with the familiar gameplay mechanic of a giant beam to propel the main character into the air. In these sets of levels it is possible to eat cake and grow fat to break through blocks. Later levels also introduce a slimy character that can stick to walls and propel itself forward similar to the asylum levels. This version keeps the collectible hats that change the character's appearance and includes an in-game level editor where custom environments can be built and shared. [source:mobygames]
