Nightshift Legacy: The Jaguar's Eye Once more, Mike and Isabel must go around the world searching for ancient artifacts. They must find the Jaguar's Eye, a lost Aztec codex that has magical powers.

Nightshift Legacy: The Jaguar's Eye, the sequel to The Nightshift Code, is a hidden object game interspersed with logic puzzles and comic book panels. Most of the time, the objective is to find and click on all the items from a list at the bottom of the screen, on places around the globe cluttered with assorted objects. Some locations are comprised of multiple screens, and the player has to switch back and forth between them to find all the required things. There's a time limit of about half an hour per location, and three hints available that show the position of one object.

Several puzzles appear between stages. In the codex puzzle, the goal is to decipher a cryptogram of three ancient Aztec texts, by following clues and translating the meaning of symbols, placing marks on a grid in a logical way. The image layer puzzle is a jigsaw puzzle with overlaying parts, where every piece have two buttons to set the image on different layers. In the sequence puzzle, pieces have to be arranged on a central area of the screen, in chronological order following clues given at the top. Number and word puzzles also appear.

There are two modes, Arcade and Story. In Arcade mode, there's no plot and the list of objects has random items. [source:mobygames]
