Mystery Case Files: 13th Skull This seventh title of the popular hidden object adventure series continues the use of live actor characters with FMV (full motion video) in painted scenes. You play as a master detective investigating the disappearance of Marcus Lawson, who after moving to an inherited estate suddenly vanishes. His daughter, the last to see him, says he was abducted by a ghost. There are rumors of a pirate burying a treasure centuries ago on the estate and a curse of the 13th skull.

You will solve various hidden object puzzles as well as go on tasks for townspeople whom you talk to. You will have to observe people's actions and those with an exclamation point over their heads have something to say to you. Search for clues also as your mouse pointer will change when something to interact with is moved over. Your current objective will be listed in text at the bottom of the screen and if the hint meter is full you can learn an important clue. You can also record clue information in a journal to keep track of until you find out what it means. [source:mobygames]
