Moon Hopper Essentially a clone of Moon Patrol, Moon Hopper is a speedy scrolling game where you control an armed moon buggy, rolling across a moon surface guarded by lots of aliens.

Unlike Moon Patrol, you can't control the angle of the cannon mounted on the roof, instead simply firing upwards at all times, with another gun pointing forward. Apart from the aliens, you also have craters to worry about, which must be jumped across, and junk getting in your way, which can be shot with your other cannon.

The scrolling is variable, which means that you can speed up your vehicle to avoid enemy fire. A meter at the bottom shows how far along a level you have come. [source:mobygames]
