Hungry Shark: Part 3 Hungry Shark: Part 3 features the same kind of gameplay as the previous two games in the series. The player takes control of a shark that constantly has to eat to stay alive. The game is controlled from a side view similar to other fish games such as Feeding Frenzy although the actual gameplay differs. By tilting the device the shark moves in the different directions and by touching the screen it can boost (increases speed and attack power). The aim of the game is therefore to explore the depths of the ocean and to eat anything the shark can swallow. The player then get points for everything he eats. Some things are dangerous though, jellyfish is poisonous and mines explode when near. Most prey are easy kills but some will fight back so it's important to time these attacks well. The shark grows as it eats and it also gets more powerful. Throughout the ocean collectible items can be found for big points.

Hungry Shark: Part 3 features a new environment with a different level layout. In the depths of the ocean players can come across an underwater volcano. If they look around closely they might even come across an evil genius' secret lair. New in this part is also enemy sharks, oil rigs, oil slicks and turbo turtles that restore the players boost when eaten. It has more than 20 new types of creatures for the shark to eat.
