Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a re-release of Halo: Combat Evolved for the Xbox 360, intended to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Halo series.

The anniversary edition comes with the same single player campaign, the only difference being that the player can switch between the graphics engine used in the original Combat Evolved (for identical graphics to the original), or switch to the same graphics engine used in Halo: Reach (for modern graphics at any point during the campaign, even mid session. The campaign also supports co operative gameplay.

The multiplayer portion of the game has all the same maps featured in the original as well as several new ones, and like the single player, players can switch between the classic and modern graphics at any point during the session. The multiplayer has also been enhanced with some of the features from the more recent Halo games including emblems, weapon loadouts, customisable armour and selectable gender.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary also supports Xbox 360 achievements, and it also has both HD and 3D graphics. [source:mobygames]
