Axis & Allies: Iron Blitz Sequel to Axis and Allies (which is included in this version), Iron Blitz again puts you in control of one of five nations (USA, UK, Russia, Germany and Japan) during the times of the second world war.

This time, however, IB uses the 3rd edition of the Axis and Allis rules. Some changes improve upon old rules found in the second edition (used in the first PC conversion). Other add new areas to the gameplay - submarines can submerge instead of withdrawing, planes may retreat from amphibious assaults, new naval units may be placed in enemy occupied zones and multiple AA guns may occupy the same territory. And when an aircraft carrier is sunk, its planes may land one space away from the battle.

Of course, for those of you who don't like any of the changes, you can turn off the third edtion rules, and play with just the second edition. [source:mobygames]
