A Robot's Conundrum puts the player in the role of a robot named MAIS (machine artificial intelligence system) that is primarily designed for the transport of cargo through hazardous environments.
In terms of gameplay, this is a two dimensional platformer where the player has to guide a barrel through each level by drilling away blocks which are in the way. If the barrel falls too much of a distance it bursts and the player has to try again. There are 30 levels in the single player campaign, which can be also be played in coop mode with one other friend. There is also a competitive mode that pits two players against one another.
