Amniotic is a top down dual thumbstick shooter in which the player takes control of a cell in the human body and fight off various germs and diseases that are attack an amniotic cell. Defeated enemies will drop glowing rings that act as medikits for the player, repairing any damage the player has taken. During the game, the players cell will also be upgraded with these rings and receive better weaponry to help the fight. Points will be awarded to the player based on how many germs they kill etc.

There is also a two player co-op game mode available to play on a single console. [source:mobygames]
