WWF Panda Junior Play as Alex or Emma as you discover the African continent in this educational WWF-endorsed game, the first in the Safari Adventure series - dedicated to an audience from 6 to 9 years old. Guided by the little WWF Panda and a forest ranger, you journey around and meet lots of different animals. Unfortunately, baddies such as the hunter Mr Mank and tourist Mr Rashburn will try to stop you from progressing.

Quests are provided by the different animals you meet. After helping an animal by arranging escape routes, rescuing them from confinement or restoring the landscape, you are allowed to take pictures stored in your scrapbook. Each location has environmental information and animal information sheets, and new regions are opened up while playing. The sheets inform you of issues and provide background on the wildlife's behaviour, comprising over 40 different animals.

The game is controlled through the mouse with typical adventure elements. Upon hovering over a hotspot, the cursor changes to show the actions you can perform, such as talking, walking around, picking up and dropping items, jumping, and riding an animal. Characters have an inventory where a limited amount of objects can be stored. At certain points, you need to solve padlock puzzles based on clues found in the surroundings. All animals have been voiced, and the game uses a 3rd-person perspective. The difficulty of the puzzles increases progressively while advancing in the game. [source:mobygames]
