The Typing of the Dead 2 The Typing of the Dead 2 is the sequel to The Typing of the Dead. It is the PC version of the 2007 arcade game released only in Japan.

This game is the "typing-version" of the light-gun rail-shooter "The House of the Dead III" featuring identical graphics and gameplay. In contrast, instead of shooting the zombies, you have to type their "names" (which may be phrases in higher levels) displayed attached to each monster/zombie with the keyboard.

TOTD2 is an educational game, destined to enhance your typing skills. The game ranks the player's typing speed and contains various tutorials. The game is divided into chapters. Each chapter culminates in a boss battle against a huge monster.

Storyline:
In the post-apocalyptic 2019, Thomas Rogan and his team infiltrate the EFI Research Facility in search of the origin of apocalypse. After losing contact with Rogan, daughter Lisa and partner "G" begin their search. [source:mobygames]
