Le Roi des Fjords is a game in six steps: the Machine, the Spell, the Glacier, the Enigma, the Trap, the Metamorphosis.

Driven by a flying Norman boat along the great glaciers in Norway, the player follows a virtual journey in quest to find Princess Olaug. The game is based on photographs & videos.

The Machine (1st-Person Perspective photo game):
The player finds in the mouth of the Fjord a tiny museum on a little island. There, he must rebuild a very curious machine to open the way to the next step.

The Spell (side scrolling game):
Further in the fjord, he learns that Princess Olaug have been transformed in an animal. Which one? Discovering the different species of the Fjord, the player finally finds a boat to continue the journey.

The Glacier (1st-Person Perspective game):
The player takes command of the boat to cross the Jostedalsbreen, the king of Glaciers, with interactive video sequences.

The Enigma (top-down game):
Someone did try to murder Princess Olaug. Who, where, with which weapon? Thanks to a lot of photographs, in a point and click game, the player finds the right clues to lead him to the next step: The Trap (1st-Person Perspective photo game).

The Metamorphosis (1st-Person Perspective photo game):
In the Urnes church, the player discovers the right capitals on the top of the pillars, replacing the good bas-reliefs, sees some fantastic monsters from the nordic myths, and discovers the path to the final of the game.
